The Tennessee River waterway is a wonderful inland system that connects Tennessee to Alabama to Mississippi to Kentucky. With connection to the Tennessee-Tombigbee waterway and the Ohio River, cruisers can explore all the connected states as well as travel to the Gulf of Mexico through Mobile or New Orleans and even reach the Great Lake. THese are points of what many call America's Great Loop. The Great Loop has many variations and deviations, all with their own attraction. When passing through the waterways of the Shoals Area, many "loopers" have come to love the beauty and hospitality of the area and made the Shoals their home base.
With first hand knowledge of the rivers and lakes, marinas, weather, hazards, and the dam and lock operations of the region, we can assist you with making your passage through the area safe and enjoyable.
