With many years of experience on all type and sizes of vessels, Chip and Pam Flournoy can jointly or individually provide captain or crewing services on a large variety of vessels, both power and sail. We have captain experience on power vessels up to 53' and on sail vessels up to 51'. We also understand that while being the captain has its place, being the crew is just as critical. When not in the captain role, there are many other jobs that must be performed timely and carefully from monitoring ships systems to caring for the passengers. We can alternate between either roles equally well.
Adapting to a particular type of vessel also means you adapt to the characteristics of that particular vessel and all her nuances. Getting to know her feel and limits is critical in the event unforeseen problems are encountered. Adapting to the geographic surroundings is just as important. Having sailed or powered on many of the southeastern US navigable waterways, in the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Atlantic region and the Caribbean, we have the experience needed to make your journey safe and enjoyable.
